Hi, I had the exact same situation and I took it to a local machine shop and they drilled it out nicely. A word of caution; DO NOT attempt to do this yourself unless you are a qualified machinist and have a sophisticated drill press. One slip and you have a completley ruined carb! We should try everything to save these increasingly rare items!!! Also, be sure to let them know that these are tapered. Take the good one to the shop and show the guy about the taper and threads.
