I have written/requested info on this previously but am still having problems with my 4100 C6AF L B5LE 1.12 carb not idling. The carb is clean and complete to the best of my knowledge and rebuilt. The weight is in place above the accelerator check ball and I have lightly seated it with a tap. With the accelerator pump booster where it should be (Front) I get mega squirt.
The engine runs way rich with excessive fuel coming in from the booster centers. I can swap the boosters, eliminating the accelerator pump and the engine will idle perfectly but now no accelerator squirt to transition from idle. I have replaced base gasket and thoroughly checked for vaccume leak. Sprayed base with fuel based spray and get no indication of vac leak. The correct booster screws are installed or the weight would not fit in primary above check ball.
Any one have any ideas? Thanks.
