A couple of pre-smog 352 4 bbl carb number, for the 64 and 65 years, are C4AF-R and C5AF-F. These are both 1.12 venturi carbs. Many later 352's with thermactor pumps and California bred, came with morphedite 1.08 carbs.
You've given no clue as to what your 352 came with or where it originated. It could have started life as a 2 bbl and or someone may have modified the kickdown linkage when they converted or went to the Holley. You may just have to fab something.
There is also no clue as to what 1.08 you have. It could have been early or late, had the kickdown on the primary throttle shaft, or not, been a horrible BB smog carb, who knows. What's the number?
352's were never known for good mileage and I really think most of them were 2 bbl out the gate, but not sure. If you wanted the poop in those days you ordered the 390.
I would still speculate that a suitable matched 4100 would get you something better than the Holley for mileage. |
