Hi agian,I had a 65 Galaxie 20 years ago and the 352 was only available with the 4 barrell carb. This was strange because a friend of mine had a 64 Galaxie 390 2 barrel 4sp. On the way to a swap meet one Sunday morning I looked in the rearview mirror and seen him coming up behind me. I let him get to my blind spot then I just floored the 352 and between the downshift and the secondaries opening that thing just took off. I think he's still trying to figure what happened that day out. I think the Holley may be original to the 66 I have now becuase it was offered so maybe they used a different kickdown rod. If I can get the 4100 rebuilt and running right I will try to modify [extend] the downshift rod. Anyway Ford must have known the the 352 needed a 4 barrel.
