I have been searching for a carburetor to use on a race car where it's required by the rules. I have heard from a very good source that there is one with a 1.41 venturi diameter(marked on the side of the carb body inside of the little circle that looks like a clock on the drivers side of the body). The largest model I've found so far has been a 1.33. I think that the 1.41 version may have been used on a car or truck other than one produced by Ford, either an International or Jeep. Any info would be a BIG help.

either a 1.14 which ford made literally millions of for their 289/302 powered cars and/0r the 1.21 which ford also made tons of for their bigger engines in the 350 cubic inch range.
I have never heard of any 2100 bigger than a 1.33. Not that it might not be true but in 30 years I have not heard of one. Maybe a "racing legend".
Those 1.33 are EXTREMELY hard to find (in almost the same class as those 1.19 4110's). If you have found one that is very cool, but it is a hard to find carburetor and finding 2 or 3 might be difficult.
For the race car that I am a partner in, and do all the carburetors for, I use the 1.23 carbs, they are very, very easily found and very, very inexpensive, plus I use a modle that not only is common but is not one that is highly sought out or destined to become collectible or rare so I have no problem modifying it. (1968 truck carb). I am also lucky as if someone were to do a preliminary search the date numbers would also match our engines and year.

Right now I have a 1.33 body and a friend of mine has two or three of those that we found in his core pile. The guy I use for carburetion work Bobby Oliver at Competition Carburetion says that he had a customer long ago who sent one to him to build for his race car that was a 1.41, he's almost 100% sure that it was that number and not one of the smaller ones. He couldn't believe it when he saw it and he doesn't know where the customer came up with the core. I have a feeling that it did NOT come from a Ford application and it must have been used on an AMC or International or some other alternative application. The question is, what?

Ya got me, I have never heard or seen of one at all. Been doing Autolites for 30 years (Fords and AMC's) never seen one or heard of one.
About 15-20 years ago I was looking all around for 1.33's for racing, and could never come up with enough of them to make it worthwhile. I have probably only owned personally 4-5 of them in the last 30 years, and then only seen another 8-10. Thats when I decided to bag those and stick to and develope the 1.23 for racing. Wouldn't mind still finding 3-5 1.33's for racing now but really wouldn't want to modify them the way I do the 1.23's so just as well. Maybe basket cases.
LMK if you come up with anything specific, that would be VERY interesting to have that information.
I am still betting it was either a 1.14 or a 1.21 that he thought was just a 1.41 in hindsight.
