carb spacer plate

still tracking carb spacer plates on eBay. also planning to attend a Ford swap meet in Minneapolis in a couple weeks.

need some info from the forum - I don't understand the purpose of the heated spacer plates in the early 60s FEs where the coolant runs through the plate. I thought having the fuel mixture COOL was the way to go?

Allowed for quicker warmups and better transistions along with better fuel atomization.

What kind of carb spacer are you looking for?
