Thanks for the link
I got this from the seller C4afdj and the link basically tells me its for a fullsize 63 then I'm too stupid to figure out. I'll keep trying. Thanks again.
PS is 85 bucks for a complete carb ok? I'm certain it needs to be rebulit but that's no big deal

I would say that carb came from a 64 galaxy. As far as kits go, you can get them from most auto parts stores, although the kit from FORD is recommended by most of the guys that do this all the time. Good Luck!!

I agree with you, I was tired before after reading all the stuff on this excellent site. I just told my wife, who owns the car 63 1/2 Marauder S55 vert, what a wealth of info I can find through the net. Beeing an old fart, do you remember how hard it could be for like 15-20 years age? Especially for a guy from Sweden who love american cars. Now it's click away, literally

I said in a previos post it was applicable for a 1964 mercury fullsize, could also be applicable for a 1963 merc as well, especially for a 63 1/2 maurauder since that was a 1/2 year for ford and they had lots of carry over with the 64's and visa-versa.
By the way very cool car, you have to love ALL THOSE 63 1/2's!!!!!!!

It's kinda funny how we got the S55. I bought a -62 Gal Sunliner, and my wife said (in a funny way) Can I get a car like that? As a car guy I responded quickly with an add I found on the Merc. I sent a friend over to have a close look and after a few days we bought it. Now we have two cars...
