Hello,
I have managed to get ahold of two C4GF-E 4100's which I know are early Hipo carbs. But I know the boosters have to be right for the carbs to work their best. Does anyone know what boosters are original to these carbs?
Thanks for your help,
Ben

Concerning venturi booster numbers especially concerning the hi-po's, but the general rule of thumb is primaries should read M or MA for the early hi-po's and BA on the secondaries. What do you have?

One carb has primary and secondary boosters that read Y1 and B1, respectively, the other has Y6 and B4. I would think that the same year carbs would have the same boosters but ???

My own personal records show the Y6 as in the one C4 hi-po carb I rebuilt (for the last 15 years I have kept records of all my rebuilts since I was comming across discrepancies)So sounds liek you are on track for the booster, Incidently the last digit supposedly is a station code (never been able to confirm that though) so they are really Y and B. And I have seen Y as a hi-po number. What do you have for jetting incidently?
