I am going to install an Autolite 4100 on my 289 and I will also be adding a set of tri-y headers. The choke tube will be an issue and I thought I had seen a kit that runs a tube down to the collector from the carburetor. Is there a kit and if so do they work since they have moved the tube far enough away from the heat source unlike the location of the cast iron manifolds.

Both have products that adapt the choke tube to headers. Check the Help section of Checker Auto, Advance, Napa or Autozone.
