I appreciate the addition of your viewpoint, and I agree. It is an indispensable axiom that you posted, and it is the only sound approach to prophecy - that we cannot know certainly of a fulfillment until after the actual event has occurred...
I believe that it has. That the passage in Zechariah 14 that you refer to was fulfilled in 1948 when Jerusalem was divided, for the first time in it's history.
I see that chapter as covering a much longer span of activity than most commonly view it, much the way I view Ezekiel 38 taking decades to complete. If (by some miracle) it turns out I am not correct in this view, then perhaps now is the time for the fulfillment of that portion of Zech 14. Anyway, I repaired the link.
