Well, I think if you dedicated your life to God in this life, no matter what calling, he is dealing with you.
============================================================
Steam: To consecrate one's self to the doing of God's will unto death, requires the giving of your earthly life right which was obtained by Jesus's death; as your ALL. That means you can not possibly be brought back to human life on planet earth. This would be true if accepted and spirit begotten. One must know for what he has dedicated his life to. If you made such a consecration, and were accepted, you can't run for an earthly call. Your life right in Christ's Kingdom is already in the "sin-offering" for partly willful sins of the people.
------------------------------------------------------------
He is teaching you and testing you. He can't grow your character otherwise. Also, even if your calling is not of the church, you will have a place in the Kingdom "my Father's house has many mansions." I would think if you end up working with other people and assisting others, or fufilling some capacity later - he would begin preparing you now for that later job.

Steam: God expects us to have accurate knowledge of our intentions; before he accepts us in any thing other than the sinner classification. In 1916 Russell said the church had not been completed in 1914. Later, probably 1917, Johnson rejected this and claimed the church had been completed in 1914 and no spirit begettal after Sept.16, 1914. He gave no scriptures in support. Pretty weak claim I believe.

Just some thoughts and gosh let's hope nobody thinks they have all the answers.
I have questions too and things I struggle with. |
