Response to Roy Roy Roy... |
| part of the problem is that you think that love is an emotion. Religionists who play on the emotions, either their own or those of others tend to come off as disinginuine. Love is not an emotion... it is a grace. A Christian grace that must be developed and therefore it come to be seen that there are those who develop the love the Bible speaks about called Agape (selfless love) and those who develop some other kind... perhaps sympathetic love, selfish love, filial love. All of these we must develop in their own measure, but Agape love is the great controlling grace and it is NOT an emotion. Love is not what you feel... love is a driving force that shapes character.
You seem to think it doesn't matter what one believes so long as they love... then you turn around and plug up the internet with all of your views as to what you believe, and then that seems to change every day. Please go back to start... to the cross... and by all means, take a look at the suggested book.
respectfully
