Dr Camping strikes again

Really, this pretender should retire.... The Wikipedia article says he's failed twice... 2011 and 1994, but it seems they forgot his predictions for September 11, 1988. He printed 2 Million booklets which he sold for #3.00 each entitled, "88 Reasons Why the Rapture will be in 1988". He got great results twisting the minds and hearts of sincere Christians who had no real sense or reasoning power or evidence of a spirit of a sound mind... and he make Six Million to boot. It seems every few years he needs to boost his income. The sad thing is his followers keep following.

Jesus said He would come again, but He also said when He did that He would come without observation... and that it would be as if He was a thief in the night. Ne has returned indeed, and the millions of would be followers seems to have missed it altogether.... indeed, for they weren't even born yet.

Christians in general don't even know the reason or philosophy behind the second coming. Jesus stated, (Luke 19: 10) that He came to seek and to save that which was lost. For goodness sakes, most Christians don't even know what was lost! Perfect humanity and all its trimmings was lost in Eden when Adam sinned. Jesus came in His first Advent to begin the seeking process... that is, to seek out a people for His name (Acts 15: 14-17; a figurative Bride which is the Church which is His body. For 1845 years He sought over and again to fulfill this mission, and that too has been completed. The purpose of the Second Advent is to SAVE. To save humanity from the curse placed on them in the Garden just before the first couple was evicted into the unfinished world outside.

Rev. 22: 3 states that in His kingdom there shall be no more curse. Isaiah said death would be swallowed up in victory. The Bible rings through and through with this clear plan of salvation.

Or course, we concede that when the church was found in its last and final member, that the great conflagration or Time of Trouble as the Prophet Daniel put it, begain with WWI and continues with (As Elijah put it) the wind, earthquake and fire that will only be extinguished by the "still small voice," or as Luther translated it... "the voice of Eden." Amen to that. We see now nations toppling under the continual throbbing crush of their own populations as they clamor for their rights. Even this great nation is verging on bankruptcy and worse. Corruption in every office and sexual devastation that even a stong man like Arnold cannot defeat

Yesterdays death toll due to just tornadoes in the US is alarming, but what of the massive flooding, the new volcanic eruptions and a plethera of other cosmic catastrophies rattle the very foundation of the planet. BP has oiled the ocean and we will see a continual stream of other atrocities, both natural and manmade as the days roll on, until mankind can no longer stand. Praise the Lord, for as Jesus stated, "When you see these things, lift of your heads and rejoice, for your redemption draweth nigh."
