God is not a Dictator?
10-23-2009
God is not a Dictator? God is love, which makes Him wiser; because he knows to not kill a person is wrong but also wrong to let one suffer in pain is wrong. That how God kills in the Old Testament times and was wrong to take out of their pain.
I do understand it completely because I not wise enough to the whole picture but I can see it not wrong. Because their life is not over yet they will get up when Jesus Christ comes to greet with love all people some will live on but others will not because of their deeds.
God is a dictator where choices your outcome you do it yourself by whether your Gods child or a child of flesh. Because God does not choice your path you do and God understand that, thank you with a holy kiss Roy.
Roy: It might help to gain better insight and understanding of God by examining the following.

(1) First Cause, Rom. 11: 36: For of Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen. Is. 44: 6: Thus saith the Lord, . . I am the First, and I am the Last, and beside Me there is no God. Heb. 3: 4: For every house is builded by some man; but He that built all things is God.
(2) Design in creation, Ps. 94: 9: He that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see? Rom. 1: 19, 20: Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them, for God hath shewed it unto them; for the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead.

Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun, which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it; and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof. Take time to study the above and you'll receive many blessing!
Roy. You stated "an atheist can go heaven but he can also go to hell, and a Christan can go to heaven but he can also go to hell, how can that be?" Roy, that's a good question Roy and one that needs to be examined according to Scripture and not the teachings of man. Well, if what your referring to is what happens when one dies, then what you have stated is somewhat strange to understand. However, if one examines the Bible more closely, a correct understanding it will be had in this matter.
First, consider John 3:13. where it is stated "No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man." (NIV). Here the Bible is very clear about going to Heaven after one dies. No one except Jesus has had this experience. Then we must consider what we have done while here on earth during our lifetime. It is unrealistic to believe that unrighteous individuals would be welcomed into Heaven! What has any individual done in their lifetime to warrant their entrance into Heaven upon their death? The Bible is quite clear on the condition of the human race. It gives us insight of ourselves when we read Ro 3:23 "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Notice here Roy that there is no exception made .....all is all, all have sinned and have no standing in God's glory at the present time. This is further strengthened when Ro 3:10 is examined. Here it states: "As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one." If none are righteous then how can it be that the unrighteous person can be welcomed into heaven?
What then do we find in the Bible concerning our fate? Romans 6:10 "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." We are all sinners, all of us have fallen short of the mark of perfection. We are imperfect in our ways. We are sentenced to the condition of death not to a future of torment. We can find proof of this in Eccl. 9:10 where it states "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom."
Note here that there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom after death, just burial in the grave!
Why would there be the opportunity to ascend into Heaven upon death? Would this not make the Ransom sacrifice on the cross a needless thing, bypassing the need for the Ransom Sacrificeand its being applied on behalf of all mankind? Consider Acts 3:21: "Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began." Why would this verse in Acts 3:21 mention "the times of restitution" if all have been transported to Heaven or assigned to Hell?
Food for thought Roy!
Has it occurred to you, dear one, as it has occurred to me--that God isn't as Benevolent as we might hope?
Look at the world, Roy--and who is in charge if not God? Is He not Sovereign? Is the Lord not ruling as we speak? But how would we, as raters of government--rate the way things are?
How benevolent is God, in reality?
Its dawning on me, that my own "ideal" perhaps isn't God's? Because it could all be different, yet it is not. Reality shows me that. REALITY, and not "idealism".
To say God doesn't cause these things doesn't really fly with me in that He, at least, allows these things. How about a Mom who "allows" a husband or boyfriend to molest/abuse her own children? Isn't "allowing", even according to man's law, wrong? Who's accountable for the mess the world is in? Is it you? Is it me?
How do you explain that, Roy? I'm all ears--I'm open, dear brother. Believe me, I'm looking for answers, because I'm about ready to give up. --rhonda
