is on the radio right now....i love the new recording. when i first heard it I HATED IT (and i can not stress HATE and stronger!). the bits with mark on that voicebox thingy...i just despised it. now i don't want to throw things at the radio anymore & i even like it! LOL. but for a while i was worried there...i wondered what the hell the guys were thinking.
does anyone else like/hate/don't have an opinion about the recording?
sigh well if the radio stations around here liked Moist (I doubt they even know that there is a new release...and requesting does nothing, believe me I've tried) then perhaps I could give an opinion.
I dont suppose anyone out there has an electroinc copy they could send along? (MP3, Real Audio, etc)

PS: Dont you just hate goign away somewhere warm and then coming back home to flippin snow! I so want to go back to Florida.
ok, it is there, you just hafta look at the bottom of the main page, it's kinda hidden and it's NOT in the audio links section. the recording is not that great, but it'll do!
have fun!

Oh do NOT get me started on the hell hole this place is. I live in shudder Fredericton New Brunswick. Actually to be correct I live in Charters Settlement...the sticks 15 minutes outside of the Fredericton city limits.
Theres about 4 stations that would play Moist, but none of them EVER do. Only another 4 years of suffering, then I'se dont school, and I is outta here...unfortunately probably to an area that would play less Moist, but shall make them known in the US, unless of course they would end up like OLP or BNL, or other good Canadian musical talent that forget about the smaller areas of Canada as soon as they break into the US. Current example of this, Geat Big Sea, but anyway I'm totally off topic here, so I shall end here.

PS: Yeah Toonces was the cat from SNL a few years back. Toonces the driving cat. He kicked ass!

while i sit here at work, bored & trying to fill my days.....i listen to cfny (the good station here in toronto) through the internet. this would only make sense if you had an unlimited connection - but it might be a possiblity. during the day they play comes and goes at least once & usually twice. just a thought.....
if this is a possiblity for you or toonces you can get to the web site through andrea's official page in the contributors section.....
Well now that I have actually heard the new C&G, I'm unsure if I like it or not.
I mean I really like the sound of it, and I was getting way into it, and then...BANG...that electronic voice kicks in and I'm taken back about 15 feet. If it werent for that electronic voice dubbing, I think we would have a pretty good rival for my top fave song, but alas Sunday Comes still holds out.
yeah - i gotta agree with you. i HATED the song the first dozen or so times i heard it....ick! but i've gotten used to it or something...and now even like it...! LOL. as a friend of mine said after he heard the new version, "there's a lot of things right with it, and there's a lot of things wrong with it."
The same thing happend when I first got a copy of Breathe. I listened to it thinking what the hell have the guys done? It didnt seem like Moist at all, but after forcing myself to sit through it a dozen or so times, it grew on me, and slowly I began to notice that yeah it was different, but there were undertones of the Moist of old, and it tied itself in nicely with the progression of the band.
I like C&G, and I like the remix, except for the voice. I wonder if I can work any magic with my audio sutio...hmmmm. BAH! too much work, I choose to be lazy, and learn to love it.
