Yesterday, Tues. March 28, 2001 Kevin Young was a special guest at the CD launch of Oliver Haze's "Wandering Trip".
There was a special 60 min INTERFAX (instead of the usual 30 min) in order for Oliver Haze to promote the release of his new album, as he also played 4 songs from it to an audience of guests who won passes to the show. I think it was at MusiquePlus, but it looked really different with that cool medieval setting.
Anyway, to what you are really interested in, which is what Kevin was doing there!
Well they said that for the past two weeks the two (Oliver & Kevin) have become friends through their management (or something like that)and that Kevin has been giving Oliver advice about the music biz. For instance, for the live shows. They don't really know each other that well or for very long, but Kevin is going to continue to help Oliver out.
Mike Gauthier, the M+ vj asked Kevin whether there was any possibility that Kevin would be helping Oliver out when he goes on tour, and Kevin answered with an ambiguous, "Well...maybe....you never know..." (or something to that extent). Hmmmm.....interesting.....
Mike also asked Kevin about any Moist news. Kevin said that right now they are taking a break, but that David is working on his 2nd solo album (that's nothing new to us). He also confirmed that he is still living in Montreal and is loving it!
That was basically it.
Now to what Kevin looked like, well, his hair is really really short now, and he was wearing glasses. I was really surprised to see him on TV at the Oliver Haze show. I wasn't even watching it, my sister was and then I heard "We have a special guest, Kevin Young of Moist here today." And I screamed and reached for my VCR to tape it. LOL.

Can't wait for David's new album!!!!! I'm gonna go crazy with anticipation!!!! (I think I already am!!!
