hi i am looking for my starion reg number uob563y its black mk1 but been turned into a wide body its got mirrored tint windows a scorpion 4 port exhaust does anyone know where this car is its my pride and joy thanks frankie hope i get a reply
i bought the car about 5-6 years ago from a bloke in birmingham he had owned the car for about 15years i think he said he spent in the region of 30k on the car using all genuine mitsubishi parts it was known by the starion owners club he used to take it to shows it was producing 280bhp the exhaust was a one off by scorpion they had to cut the petrol tank in half so the exhaust would fit,4 big pipes comin out the back of the car looked beautiful could even get flames comin out of them it did have a works groupA rally turbo on which was a massive turbo lag but oh my god when it did kick in it was hold on for your life immense power but i blew that turbo up so i put a cossie turbo on, it has trackday suspension very uncomftable but handled amazing, the wheels are massive 255/45/15 i had problems gettin tyres for them, it had a vented bonnet with added rs turbo vents aswell, all the windows were mirrored tint u couldn't see in the car just see your reflection. The car had such a lot of work done 2 it u have 2 see it 2 belive it. it was stored on a farm while i was away with 3 other starions inc a lhd imported by colin blower from bkooklyn usa is 1988 now the bloke who was storing them has sold his farm and moved 2 japan and i've no idea how 2 get in touch with him or how 2 find my cars any ideas anybody please cheers frankie.
oh i only have 1 photo of it and its not a very good one but i'll try and put it on here
Frankie,
Yes, I KNOW THE CAR MATE. We knew Theo from when the club 1st started in 1994. It is true, the car was upgraded with original wide body panels & cost Theo a small fortune to do. It was also the ONLY starion to have 4 tail pipes at the time.
I will attempt to dig out some photos. - Hope you fine her.
Mark
Click vehicle inquiry on the left and go from there.
The results for UOB 563Y came up as "Vehicle details could not be found" which suggests the car no longer exists, has been off the road since before the DVLA's system was updated or it has had it's reg number chaged but don't loose heart you can ring this number 0870 240 0010 and an advisor will be able to assist you 8.00am - 8.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am - 5.30pm on Saturday.
I'm not sure what info they will give you over the phone if any but worth ago if you really want to find it.
Just got onto the Starion web site and could believe what I have just read.
After saving hard for 2 years I purchased once a yellow starion 22 years ago. There were so many parts missing that it took me several years to research any spare parts(no one had ever heard of Starion)with little knowledge and alot of imagination I soon developed my ideal sports car.30K and 5 years later my dream car had been created.
With so much love and passion I was so devastated to hear that my baby was missing, I cant believe it.
I have so many photos which I will share with you.
Ps. I never wanted to sell my baby and only did to you because I knew that you would look after her as good as I did.If I can help in any way to get her back to you ,please let me know.
Theo

Hi Mark - Nice to see the Starion Owners Club is still going. Regarding my car it was last on the road in 1999. Since then it has been dry stored and started and maintained. The car is in mint condition and has no rust anywhere on the body. The engine still runs sweet and the interior is as new. Wonder how many others there are left?
As you know I also have the silver 5 stud changeover model and more parts than I know what to do with. Just seem to have found other interests since we last saw you.
Is Gary still around. It would be good to get together to talk about the old times.
We were sad to hear about Jon from Don - he was a great character and we shared some brilliant weekends with him.
