Hello all,

I've just become a member so I'll tell you all a little about myself. back in the early 80s was the first time I came aross the Starion and my god was it a orsum motor but back then it was a little out of my league as thay where new on the market, so I just stuck to my mk1 escorts and RS 2000. The reason for me joining this club is I'm on the look out for a 2.6 Turbo wide body and I thought this would be the best place to find one, so if there is anyone out there who is looking to sell there beast I'd be more than happy to get intouch, I'm looking at spending around £500.00 so it may be one that need a little TLC, so keep me in mind.it would be good if she had a little MOT on her as I live all the way down in Cornwall so I can drive her home.

Just thought I'd let you no that I have found one, it's not a 2.6 but a 2.0 why the change in heart ref engine size because the car is sound and straight.

I bought mine for £400 with no mot, tax and it was a non runner.
The car now stands me at over £5000.
It's worth doing but be warned, it can get a little tiring and frustrating.

I know what you mean but I'm in for the long haul,I'm working from the ground up, the car is going on her side next week, all rot is coming out, parts are being stripped and rebuilt and then have a fresh coat of paint you name it and it's being done so watch this space.

I'll put some pictures up so you can all see what I'm up against, but I'm going to have some fun doing it I can assure you of that.

i have a starion the same as your looking for mate but its motd taxd and has almost full service history. if you had another 12-1500 to add to your offer or mite take a px on it if you have another car!!!
