help to solve a problem

Hi all, got a problem and was wondering if anyone has suggestions. I drifted the car and since that time when the car reaches 3000 rpm I get a vibration through the gearstick whether in gear or not. I have had engine, gearbox and diff mounts checked and all okay. There is nothing loose or exhaust touching gearbox or body.Would the balance shaft eliminator have anything to do with it? Or would it be some sort of bearing failure? Any suggestions???

Thanks Sav

hi next stage is what happens if clutch is pushed in do you still get the vibration if you do your looking at engine problem if it stops then your problem is gearbox related with vehicle on tickover does it run smooth next thing look under bonnet apply revs and see if engine is running smooth or lumpy if lumpy it coild be a plug or lead down look at the easy things b4 going engine knackered scenario

Hi mate, spoke to a gearbox specialist today and he thinks because i had the flywheel lightend it had become weak and most probably cracked it which explains a lot of things that have gone wrong. Was going to get a Fidanza flywheel anyway. Thanks for trying. Who are you?

Sav.
