I decided to give the starion a wash the other day and after i finished i took it up the road for a spin as it hadn't been used for a couple of weeks. About a mile up the road i noticed i had no oil pressure! I stopped immediately and restarted after checking the oil level (fine). there is a rattle from the bottom end and im thinking i may need a crank. Who has experience here of rebuilding the 2.6? The car already has a T.E.P. cylinder head fitted a few years ago, so hopefully those parts are ok.

I had the bigends go on mine about a year ago, i had the crank check and it was fine the bloke said that they are pretty much bullet proof so you should be fine with new shells. Not that hard to do either did mine with the engine still in the car.
