I am sad to post this message Pentti passed away on Wednesday 30th September 2009 after a long battle with illness he will be greatly missed not only by me but i am sure ralling fans all over the world i am posting a link to a tribute sight to him i would be grateful if any one finds any more they could post them here or e-mail them to me .. i shall miss him !!!!!!

Sad loss to the motorsport world. I had the pleasure of meeting Pentti many times, not least on one of his Rally school days. Was an awesome driver, a true flying Finn!!!!!
