The Rundown: StrikeZone/Christmas Carnage Pre-Show [Dec 2005]

by Gojinn [King of RunDowns]

The screen fades in with an image of Gojinn sitting in a chair in the center of the room, and two television monitors attached to the wall behind him. One monitor is playing a countdown for the event, and the other, is showing clips of events leading right to the event.

Seasons Beatings everyone! If this is the first time you’ve seen a DWF show, or the first time you’ve tuned into the DWF Rundown, then you’re in luck. Tonight the King will finally be in competition! That’s right! Gojinn will be in not one, NOT TWO, but THREE of tonight’s matches!

Tonight though, we celebrate the holidays, and whether you celebrate Hanukah, Kwanza, St. Nicholas Day, or something else…Merry Christmas and Happy New Year you worthless servants.

Now, onto more important things…

…the first ever StrikeZone event is presenting the seasonal PPV, Christmas Carnage! This is one jam packed show from top to bottom, so let’s get to work, and figure out what you’re all gonna witness, if you’re not cheap and actually pay to see this.

Deadblood King Gojinn
Morgue Match

There’s the match of the evening folks. Screw the others on the list, this is the one you’re gonna pay to see. That’s right, the King, the great one, the biggest star out there, Gojinn, will be teaching one annoying rookie that I don’t F@$# around. But forget about me killing him for now, let’s get down to the details of the match, shall we?

StrikeZone General Manager, Kevin McKain had asked me a simple question, two weeks before Aggression. “If I give you a nearly guaranteed title shot, would you come back? Would you finally compete for these fans you turned your back on?” The way he said it pissed me off. But the title shot seemed to pique my interest, so I came to the man. He told me if I got one victory over someone he could find to face me, that I was guaranteed a title shot at whatever champion I wanted.

Naturally the King thought it over hard, and less then a minute later I’d signed the contract and thrown it back at him. When I showed up to my interview however, where we’d announce my signing, McKain decided he would try to…influence the people to tune into StrikeZone next time, by brining down my opponent and introducing the tension. See, I guess the deal is, he picked this ninja looking creep out of a back alley, where he was probably so high he saw God himself in front of his eyes, and said “Fight this guy.” So this idiot, signs a contract, to face the KING!

Now, he brings Deadblood out and what happens? He immediately starts shit! So what did your King do ladies and gentlemen? He put that bastard through a glass table, end of story…

A man offstage whispers to him..

”Wasn’t there more Gojinn? Didn’t he get you ba- “

Gojinn raises a hand at him, making the man run off…

Okay, so I left out the part where Deadblood got the upper hand back. Who cares?! He got me, and then that good for nothing GM stabbed me in the back, not only telling me that it was a morgue match, that I couldn’t touch DB, but he had me thrown out of the building and locked into jail!

So now McKain, you better look for a replacement, cause in that Morgue match come tonight, Gojinn is gonna get some of Deadblood, and when I’m done with that asshole, Deadblood, will be locked into a body bag and shoved so far into the locker that no one will remember his damned name……

Hardcore Title Match
Rage DNA(c)
Hell In A Cell

By order of General Manager McKain, we will finally get the full resolution of the dispute between these two men over the sought after Hardcore title! Last event we saw Rage take the title, and then Jesse Raen, steal it away. Aggression General Manager Shane Lestat, showed his authority over the match and stripped Raen of the belt because he isn’t signed to the DWF. Instead he made the choice to give the belt back to DNA, not because he won before, or he deserved it, but because in the back DNA and he –

Okay well, you get the image anyway..

So tonight, you’re gonna see the beast of the Outsiders fully unleashed! You think Rage was dangerous or mean before DNA? Helllll no my friend. He’s pissed as fuck now because you went and stole that title unfairly. This time, Jess Raen, and Shane Lestat have no control over the outcome. Looks like you’re on your own.

But Rage, don’t get too into the thought you can beat DNA. He is a great competitor. We’ve seen Darien pull out some insane things, and god only knows what will happen inside of that metal hell. DNA may just go mad and haul off on you dude.

Folks, this may very well be the show stealer of the event!

Want to see it? BUY THE DAMN PPV!

Tag Team Championships
DNA and Fuse Rage and Gojinn Jimmy and Lucky
Tag Team Battle Royale

The Outsiders will face the team of Jimmy and Lucky who will face DNA and Fuse in a race for the Tag Team gold! The Outsiders have of course voiced their opinions about how great they are, and how they will stop at nothing to claim gold. Folks at home, you’d better believe that’s the damned truth.

Fuse and DNA see it different however, and have decided to team up in an effort to stop Rage and I from claiming those belts ourselves. Seems DNA’s head is so big he wants to hold both the Hardcore and Tag titles for the first time in history. Dream on boys, we’ve got these in the bag.

And then there’s Jimmy and Lucky. ‘Nuff said…

Jeremy Nottingham Illyana

We saw both of these guys at Aggression, and tonight they’re gonna get it on! No! NOT LIKE THAT! Well, maybe.

You never know here! Better bet on this to be a great match too!

Jack E. Breaker King Gojinn
No Holds Barred – Submission Match

Jack…what you did, is inexcusable. Rachel wasn’t my wife, but what you did is flat out disgusting. Breaker, I thought you were a low piece of shit before, but you attacked your wife. The woman you married. You said you’d stay with her for life, now look at you. You’re alone, and a loser.

Jack, she didn’t make you weak. You made you weak. You weren’t good enough to beat me…or Darien…or even Red. That wasn’t her fault. That was your own. You have your head up so high in the clouds you can’t see your own weakness.

Jack you are your own worst enemy. Listen to yourself, “Worlds Superior.” What a load of shit. You’re horrible. And at StrikeZone, win or lose, I’m gonna make you regret stepping into the ring against me. You want submissions you bastard, I’ll make you scream like your wife did when you beat her in that ring.

You’re gonna pay Jack E. Breaker…

Intercontinental Championship
Dalkiel (c) Mystery Opponent

God only knows what will happen in this match. Dalkiel will finally defend his belt against a mystery opponent. Other than who he’s facing, this match isn’t a mystery, and to see who he’s gonna face, we all know you’re gonna tune in baby. Enjoy!

Vice President Challenge

There’s not much to say other than there’s a special challenge against a mystery tag team! Ought to be a fun time! Enjoy that.

Cark Nexus
Iron Man Match

Cark…he…I…

Nexus is gonna whip Cark’s rookie ass, and that’s the end of that!

Undisputed Champion
Viper (c) Fiona

This one oughta be good. I’m not familiar with Fiona, but if Viper dislikes her, that means Fiona hates her too.

The venom oughta flow in this match, and to make it extra special, I’m sure Viper will wear something naughty and oh so nice for the boys. To make things even sweeter, the title is up for grabs. Let’s just hope the champ is taken down in all her glory. THAT would make a Merry Christmas for me!

What?!

Short but sweet, that’s the Rundown this time. I’ve got a morgue to visit, and then an arena to run back to, so who knows what will happen. But tune in, you’ve got less than a minute! Come on! Get to a damn phone and call, or use that remote or get on your computer…just don’t go and download this damn thing free! I will kick your @$----

The signal goes black, and a picture of the DWF logo flashes, before it fades out to start the event…
