Response to I Am The Last Guy In The World

You as Marine mothers are as much a part of the family as I am. We are 'FAMILY'. I know that none of you meant offence of any kind. I forgot to mention the reason I went to all the trouble of even mentioning casualties in the first place. In a recent poll 83% said the were in favor of war to avenge the attack on us. When the same people were asked if they were willing to except 1000 casualties the majority dropped to 60%. We left Somalia because the public would not except just a few casualties. On Iwo Jima alone we lost 5931 Marines killed. 22479 killed in WW11 and well over 100,000 wounded. Are modern day Americans willing to except perhaps as many as 20000 casualties? I wonder !!
