because it was almost 1 a.m. He just wasn't thinking, was hanging out in the rec center and decided he wanted to talk! Bless his heart! Wants me to send him some CLOTHES! LOL Said contrary to popular belief, it does get cold in MS! We had a very nice little conversation and then he talked to his sister some. Made her cry. He told her, "You do realise I am airwing, don't you?" She said, "I try not to think about it". He: "Well, you do realise who is over there right now, don't you?" She: "I believe you are going to Cherry Point or New River, don't tell me these things!" He: "You need to know, because I am ready to go!" And of course she started crying. Bless her heart, she loves her "little" brother so much. She told him when we visited the other week that since he was now a MARINE, she was no longer looking out for him, that he needed to look out for her and we all got a little chuckle out of that. She has "looked out" for him since the day he came home from the hospital!
Just wanted to share, so I will quit rambling. I am blessed, I have two of the best "kids" in the world. Of course, I am not partial in any way....:-)
