Got so intent on seeing if I could finally figure out how to post a pic that I forgot to put my name and address....but there's your MN State Flower.....the Showy Pink Lady Slipper!!
In my search for pictures of it I saw where up in the Williams area...Hwy 11 I believe, is a scenic flower trip when the Lady Slipper is in bloom.....so you and Dorothy plan a little jaunt to the west...Lost Forty first, then Kelliher for lunch and then north to Baudette through the bog, and west towards Warroad to see the Pink Lady Slippers...from there you are on your own...south to Fargo?? Nice museum there with the Hjemkost (sp?) that was built and sailed to Norway in the fashion of the Viking ships of old!
