how things vary from state to state and so info from one state can't really help you if you are in another! Will also needed to prove that he was a VA resident they put him through the "grinder" over that one, 2001 tax return will prove that, don't know if this is also something you need in MN, but might be something to keep in mind. I asked them, "Just what state is he supposed to have a license in if not Virgina?". I think that was when Will said I did a good impression of a DI...LOL! Va is his state of record, so I don't know what their problem was! Also don't know if much of our "headaches" yesterday were caused by the whole stink over hijackers getting VA licenses! I was kinda "captive" since I was his transportation and had to sit and wait through all of this(shoulda took a book to read!). I watched several people being turned down for licenses(not happy campers, I can tell you!), so maybe VA is just being vigilant! Dunno! Daughter says, "No, that to work in a VA DMV, you must first take a class in how to be absolutely annoying and have a special ability to P*** people off!" She has also spent way too much time in the DMV to get a simple task done! Bottom line, Ione, I think if someone in DMV had just had the brains to say you need this and this and take it over here, you know what I mean?! But no, the right hand couldn't figure out what the left hand was doing so they sent Will around and around in circles...he would get everything okayed at one window to end up at another and start the whole INSANE process all over again! Sheesh! But it is done now! So I will quit venting!
