We signed up because Adelphia is our TV Cable provider and they offered the high speed power link with the digital cable for a great price. Plus, liked the idea of always being connected and only one bill. However, I've had nothing but problems with my email account since. Can usually get online, but my MAIL ..... as Ione would say .... HUMPH!!! Just a couple of weeks ago, couldn't get anything coming, but could send .... finally called and they told me that 'someone' had 'spammed' the server blocking mail and causing trouble for 100,000 customers. They fixed that after a day or so and then my own personal mailbox at the 'server' kept coming up with corrupt mail that blocked all the rest. They finally requested a 'reconstruction' of the mailbox at the server the other day, and all is supposed to be fine, although I still think I should be getting more mail than I am judging from before, but have no real way of knowing ...... then yesterday, around 4:00 no cable or internet!!! Seems, we found out last night while out, that a truck hit some pole housing the 'trunk' which controlled everything!! Was surprised I had it back this morning. So, WHO KNOWS!!! Granted the pole thing has nothing to do with anything else, but I'm thinking Adelphia has alot of problems .... see where the CEO resigned a short time ago after 25 years, and hubby says they sold alot of networks around the country not too long ago because of financial problems. If the way they do billing has anything to do with it, I understand .... I won't even go into how they messed up my billing over the last 3 months ..... but let me just say that when you call and question and someone says, 'What would you like to pay?' ...... I think there might be a problem here!! LOL!
