Watched the early Sunday morning movie classic Flying Leathernecks (1951), with John Wayne as the Wildcat Squadron's commander and flying ace. The movie contained lots of actual footage of the Marines in combat on Guadalcanal. Could swear I thought I recognized Dave de Arche in a couple of them clips.
