OK, have tried to post this for two days now, but...

life gets busy at camp! I had a wonderful time with Ione on Saturday and stayed in her home on my tiempo libre (night off). I get one night per week off every other week and a 10 hr liberty on alternate days. Anyway, it was great to meet her Marine son (now veteran) and his Marine bride (now veteran). For someone who grew up in a row home, I was amazed at how far into the country Ione lives. Then again, I am always amazed at how different and how beautiful the many parts of our great nation are. No wonder she made such a good 'mean mom' - (private joke among old Marine Moms). Anyway, we needed a post and here it is! Howdy to all you lurkers out there...
