Foggy day here in northern MN so far. Temps are warming and
snow is melting....had to get more this week (darn).
Suppose the warning today, being St Patrick's, is not to watch
out for yellow snow but GREEN snow?????? (bad, I know but this
is what happens to ya this time of year....
) There are a
few Irish around but no matter...always a good reason to celebrate!
The ice fishing houses are all off the lake even tho the ice is still
about 48 inches thick in spots....we had a fast warm up so shore
ice can be a little "iffy". So we still can "walk on water" here
in MN!! It was a good year as far as the Marine's fishing business...
profitable?, that is doubtful when you consider the vehicles he's
gone thru. The truck going in the pressure ridge did that one in and
now he's hit a deer with the replacement truck....didn't know that my
"mom's training" in the Marine Corp was to prepare me for the stunts
he'd pull when he got out!! Trucks are replaceable...the kid is not!
