Response to Sept Post....news on Ben and sb

Especially the expecting parents.
Seem that everybody has some news.
Recently I was on Sgt. Grits chat room, where I general talk to a few Marines and a few women.
One Marine, I sure you know, as Skip/TOS, or Skip Hoswell.
On Sgt. Grits, he known as Juice or Juicer.
There I'm known as MadDawgUSMC or MadDawg.
Why?
One day I just decided to make a change, MillRat was getting a bit old.
Now back to the chat room, a name appeared Emmy, on seeing that name, I said I knew an Emmy from Indiana.
Somebody said this is her.
Emmy said are you stalking me?
I replied this is your old Hoosier buddy, MillRatUSMC from Indiana, except I'm now living in Altoona, PA.
Well, we did a little catching up.
I told that back in Indiana, I had been in a video or DVD, that was produced by a few ladies I met at what was then know as the Community Veterans Memorial Park, which covers 9 acres, it includes a site for every war of the 20th Century from World War I to Desert Storm.
When I met them, they were at the Vietnam part of the site.
I use to have a virtual Community Veterans Memorial on the web.
I offer them a card to my web site.
They in turn asked if I was a veteran, to which I replied yes, of the war that you are now view.
They than said great, we going to make a video of comparing Iraq to Vietnam.
At first I was cautious, because I did not want to appear of under cutting the troops now in Iraq.
They than told that I could say whatever I want to say, or I could refuse to answer.
I started that I saw Iraq turning into another Vietnam, because at the beginning, everybody was cheering till our deaths and wounding s started to getting up in numbers.
Than like now, some don't even feel the burden being carried by their peers or do they care to help ease the load.
My final remarks were that my wish was that we as a nation should give them a better welcome than the nation gave us.
Another thing I told her, that I had done some web pages of 200 plus poems by another Marine, Cpl Robert L.Cook USMC.
Without any graphics, because I believe good poetry has no need for graphics.
We should see what the poet wants us to see by his words alone.
I have those on a CD, but they are not for sale.
Well, I told her if she wanted I would send her those, so she could see what I had been up lately.
When I got ready to send them, I decided to include a book of poems by Cpl. Robert L. Cook. . .POEMS by a Marine, for the Marines and All Those that hold them in Esteem.
I think I did all this to make amends for not making an interview back in Indiana, because I was too busy remodeling our old building.
This coming week-end of 15th September 2007, there's a gathering of Vietnam Veterans in Kokomo, Indiana, where Juicer and some from that chat room are going to meet.
They will also meet Emmy.
She planning to attend.
That my news, but sure doesn't beat expecting a new baby.

Semper Fidelis
From your hijo
Ricardo or MadDawgUSMC
