It's official, rocker's on arms and shoulders are sore

Ben is now officially SSgt Ben. Says it's kind of weird because he is in a school situation where everyone goes by first name and so he hasn't been called SSgt too much yet. He is also second in line for a new house on base which will be a huge step up for them. Baby #2 is due in March so I'm sure they will be in and settled by then.

This has been a long time coming and I'm very proud of the grunt. Worse part for him, he is no longer 0311 (basic rifleman). He is no 0369 (I think) which is unit leader. Big step up but he loves that 11 designation. The unit commander (LtCol) asked him what he wanted to do with the rest of his career and there has been much support to go around.

I have certainly learned a lot over the years of being a Marine Mom...thought it was a 4 year hitch!
