      miners were trapped - not sure if circumstances were similar. This story really grabbed me. I like caves - have never spelunked - but have done the tourist thing where they turn all the lights out; also went down a mine shaft in Nova Scotia w/Ben years ago. Was really neat - we wore the coat, hats and boots. Also got to pick out own souvenir coal. Still have mine and Bens.

      All in all, it was an incredible human interest story that had a happy ending in a time when we have been inundated with the complications of greed in our society. Coal miners and their family are gritty folks and perhaps not unlike many Marines and their families in many ways.

      Well, here's to them!
