As a strictly hetero male, I find some of Bowie's opinion on the matter confusing - specifically how he changed from gay to hetero and the state he refers to as "trisexuality". It baffles me but I guess as he says, sexuality is not black and white, there are nuances - but whatever those nuances are, I know that I am quite different to David Bowie. Having said that, one of the things I find most impressive about Bowie is his very ability to express ambiguity - and particularly sexuality, even if I have no desire to go and act upon it. He is by far the most liberating influence I have ever felt from an artist.
