Today, back in 1985, the world was glued to Live Aid, Bob Geldof's charity extravaganza for famine relief in Africa which featured all the major acts of the day.

Duran Duran were in Philadelphia with Bob Dyland and Madonna, while Status Quo and The Who played Wembley.

Phil Collins played both venues, jetting between them, much to Princess Diana's delight.
