I recently purchased myself a brand spanking new laptop with blu-ray and and a HDMI output. I then thought wouldn't it be nice to be able to play both SACD and DVD-Audio on it. As it goes all I needed to do was download the multi-media player, Foobar 2000 and get plugins for both DVD-A and SACCD and then away I go. It's the first time I've actually heard my David Live and Stage in proper 5.1!!

They sounded amazing! Also it's the first time I've heard my Talking Heads DVD-As as they were intended as well. All I need now is some SACD discs. I noticed on e-bay the Bowie SACD cost two arms and two legs!! SO that will have to go on hold for the time being. But I am on the look out for them.
