Here is the updated poster for Arthur and the Invisibles.
ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES - Limited Release December 15, 2006, National Release January 12, 2007
(MGM)
From the creative mind of talented filmmaker Luc Besson (La Femme Nikita, The Fifth Element), comes a larger-than-life, family adventure about a boy who, after his grandfather disappears, sets out to save his family home from emerging real estate developers. Arthur learns that he must follow his grandfather’s ancient clues to a vast treasure – and unlock the passageway to a spectacular new world filled with mysterious little people, so tiny they are considered invisible, and enlist their help. But once in the magical land, Arthur must join swords with a beautiful princess and a reckless army of defenders to save the land from the evil wizard. It seems like an impossible task, but as he discovers along the way, sometimes the smallest heroes can make the biggest difference. Using a dazzling new combination of live-action and ground-breaking CGI technology, ARTHUR AND THE INVISIBLES is the story about the true meaning of courage and the endless power of imagination.

Okay not necessarily 'again', but he is the villain. I like him better when he is the main character too. Now I really wish I live in Europe. I must go see this movie, just for him... ^^
I actually got it to give to 96dbNo2Daughter at Xmas, so I'll have to wait a couple of weeks before I can read it. The cover says there's a second book and that the movie is based on both, so I reckon I'll have to go back to the shop tomorrow to see if they have the other one. The movie won't be starting here until 11th January, so I've got plenty de temps to read it before then.

I went back but they didn’t have it. I then went into town and checked all three of the big bookshops and while they all had Arthur And The Minimoys (for $14.95), none of them had Arthur And The Forbidden City (though it is on one of their websites). I might check back next week (if I can handle another trip to the CBD in the week before Xmas - freakin’ bedlam).

Nope. Went to a suburban shopping centre today and they have a huge Borders there and they had one Luc Besson, "Arthur" book - this one:
It's Xmas in 9 days, so once I've given them to my daughter I shoulod be able to borrow them and have them read in time (they're pretty short) for when the movie starts a couple of weeks later.
96dbNo2daughter just rushed at me and told me about the advert she'd just seen on TV: "Dad! Coming out on January 11th. A new movie. Arthur and the Invisibles!!!!"
