Following the release of their Jareth the Goblin King Action Figure, NECA (National Entertainment Collectibles Association) plans to release a second Jareth figure. The figure will feature Jareth dressed in a different outfit from the first figure. It will be sold as a stand-alone figure at select retailers in addition to being sold in a "deluxe box set" including a Hoggle figure and a collectable diorama base pack-in.
The first public image of the Hoggle figure were shown in the February 2007 issue of "Lee's Toy Review" just days before NECA displayed the figure for collector's at Toy Fair in New York. An image of NECA's second Jareth figure was featured in the September 2007 issue of ToyFare magazine.
The Jareth and Hoggle two-pack is planned to be released in "fall 2007".
and they are even going to release a pack of goblins....
But still no Sarah.... so Paisley sent them a nice... ok, not so nice little note telling them to make a frickin' Sarah already! in fact I demanded two... one in the jeans outfit, one in the ball gown... and I even told them to do a third Jareth... in the blue ballroom outfit...Hell I'm gonna go broke on my Labyrinth memoriablia.

There's no info on the size of the Jareth figure... but 7" or 12" I'll be getting him... I'm gonna need a room for the Labyrinth and gnomes.... and a bowl of strawberries and whipped cream!

Ooo and that's my favorite outfit too!
Yes, he should have just been sold like Barbie's counterpart Ken- with his own wardrobe and accessories. But wait...that might encourage one too many curious Jareth fans, with all the dressing and undressing going on. :ahem:

The close are molded to him.. it's what's being called "A Action figure" it's not like a ken doll... wish it was... but they absolutely have his..."package" correct....Ok, I need a cold shower.
Just a Paisley Rose, kissed by the highland mist
first Jareth doll (sizes 7" and 12" look alike)
Second Jareth doll.... I "package" is clearly correct!

I have two of the first 7 inch Jareth(one to keep in the box and one to display), want that one with the the brown coat, and have the 12 inch Jareth(need a second one to play with! ).

The facial expression (which makes Jareth look slightly constipated, I'll agree) will probably be different in the actual version, which I find reassuring. Hopefully they'll fix that freaky right arm, too.
I assumed this one would be another 7" figure like the first, and if the attention to detail re: the outfit is on the same level, it should be pretty nice!
Maybe they'll make a ballroom-outfit Jareth, with that wonderful horned skull mask for an accessory.

they can only do a ball room Jareth if they make a ball room Sarah, otherwise it would seem silly. not that I wouldn't buy it or anything, but there needs to be a Sarah. A great box set would be a Sarah and Toby combo.

Anatomically correct, yes, as far as the outside! LOL! I can't imagine buying that for any sweet little girls or boys. WoW! The role playing that could happen! On the other hand...

This is the outfit he's wearing in a good many of my tales... I think it's the one that shows him off at his Goblin King best... now don't get me wrong, I love the Royal Regalia he wears for his entrance, but it's not as sexy as this....
I think the Ballroom wear is wonderful, but it's not the same as this.....
I'm thinking of sending a letter off to Mattel...asking them to do a Barbie and Ken Labyrinth set... I've a gal pal who is into toys.. maybe she has some pull...we'll see.
yes the ballroom outfit- definitely my second choice of apparel.
I have always really admired that half moon pendant though- have often thought about seeing if this lovely, talented lady http://eyefeather.deviantart.com/ could make me one.
This Labyrinth Boxed Set features new Jareth and Hoggle figures, taken from the cult-classic Jim Henson film! Hoggle is a brand-new figure, and the Jareth figure features a different costume from previous releases as well as a new head sculpt. Each figure is incredibly detailed and features the likenesses of the actors.

NCOMING: LABYRINTH
Special delivery for Labyrinth fans—a very special package!
Posted August 23, 2007 4:30 PM
BY: NECA
RELEASE DATE: Late Fall
Special delivery for Labyrinth fans—a very special package! Yes, after delivering a fantastic armored version of David Bowie’s Goblin King Jareth for their first figure, NECA finally acknowledges one of the most disturbing facts of the movie—Bowie’s man-meat is prominently displayed through most of the film. But hey, it’s still a great looking figure, and we’re still psyched to pick it up, either in this single-packed version (available at select retailers) or as a deluxe boxed set with Hoggle the Goblin and a diorama base! Check back for pics!
Paisley was on a mission. I can't help my self... too many Sherlock Holmes movies when I was a kid... too many Judy Bolton books... (you can have Nancy Drew, she's an armature compared to Judy)
I'm not sure what I'm going to do... but my gal pal who is in the doll business suggested I send a letter to Mattel... perhaps with all the resurgence of interest in Labyrinth the would do a Barbie and Ken as Sarah and Jareth.
