I remember I was so excited to see the Hunger after becoming a Bowie fan so I rented it with my fellow fan-friend. We then sat down in front of the TV with popcorn excited for what we assumed would be great considering all the hype on Bowie forums. We just ended up being confused, bored, and very disappointed. Hmm. Did anyone else have that reaction?
Beautifully shot but poorly scripted I thought. Some fantastic scenes of Bowie, Denueve, Bauhaus etc. but the film suffered from Bowie's early exit. Some beautiful classical pieces on the soundtrack though.
Are they all sans-filtre in Marseilles?
The ones made here (in Quebec City, actually) have filters.
Gauloises Blonde, made with "tabac blonde", are a different kettle of fish.

i love gitanes......i never really smoked and the missus has given up but we allow ourselves one as a special treat "post coital" if you will. unfortunately you can't get em here anymore. something to do with lawsuits and packaging. same for all french ciggies. shame.
I just love that photo of David and Catherine together ,,even he was smiling with Sarandon ,,it looks like he was thinking
''I can't believe you played in ''Rocky Horror Show ''
I wonder if he had a bit of a crush on Catherine
