Re: Paul has to make sure........

I'll never ever understand this thread deletion thing. Was kiddie porn put there? Were M15 documents uploaded? I mean, is there someone from network 54 trawling the forums looking for petty squables and ill advised opinions?
Jesus, it just some pop fans with too much time on their hands trying to score points against each other.
Whatever, I'll stop moaning now. It's not my forum, and I'm a guest here so 'nuff said.
I don't know PK, but I don't think he has any moderators, he does it all by himself. It's his board, so he can do what he wants with any posts.
What I do think is happening though, is that he and/or Network 54 are being bombarded with complaints by people who just like to whine and moan, so he has to act to keep this board going. I also think he's sick of receiving complaining emails every day, so it's easier just to remove threads rather than get involved.
That's what I would probably do, if I were in his position because let's face it, who needs the hassle?
I'm not speaking on behalf of PK, I'm just giving my thoughts on the matter.

Gabriel, if you search for 'Irving' you'll find some very 'fruity' threads from 2006 when the subject was very first... err... 'debated' (for want of a better word). There are some interesting 'God will judge you' threads doing the rounds from way back when too.

Well you have me intrigued now, Gabriel Oaks.
Whatever did you say that I might have missed?
I hate to miss a contentious post of substance like you
must have added.... I'll have to pay more attention here.

Gabriel makes good reading.
However, from trawling through the 'other' thread, it looks like it's been playtime in the kindergarten again for quite a few. Nothing like a good digression or insult to cover for lack of substance. I think we've been here before on more than one occasion.
Where's Kiss? And Try? And... the balance of this board needs redressing.

Oh Hello There !
I have a butterfly mind and was elsewhere when you were in my room.
Which, by the way, any Bww'r is welcomed to if they wish to spend time there (here) or whatever.
Not that that really matters..... what matters is that that as many satisfied molecules bounces off of as many other happy molecules as possible and we will rupture this corrupt structure built on age (ingenious line) and create a happier more liberated environment for all us womenmen to grow and pas onto.
I haven't met a person here that didn't give me some cause for deep thought (really), and this is the epitome of unstructured-ness..... I would go no where else, the wise are praised as much as other egos allow, and dunces are rattled off if they do not come up to buoyant thought level. And then there are gutter-bugs .....lower than ants, like myself...... I love bww....... if you crush a pelvis, or have a serious aneurysm and cannot operate fucking spoon, Bww is there! If youe so mentally fucked that your family has left you for dead, Bww is THERE BABY. I been High, and I been (rather)low. and you know whet? You spellcheck assholes saved my bacon on more than a few occasions. ...... (big sigh) I love you people..... I only want as much from you as I give, and Allah Knows I give precious little..... but it's the thought that kills (wink).
You are my kin.
Happy changing of seasons!
(Vermouth is not necessary in a martini)
Oh!!!! from a "radio Shirley" program.....which I NEVER would have heard about without you all.
(you really had ought to watch this, it is quite cool!
Loveth ya'll !
(this vid is SO bww)

No more, no less, on this MB... and if we're talking Janus then my thoughts are very evident, not on the 'periphery' as some may like to delude themselves.
Not many people seem to see beyond the surface around here... so yes, the balance does need redressing. There's plenty of talk about 'gangs' and I can only see one on here -- all ready to have their infinite say despite not knowing what's what (in any department) and all in the best hypocritical taste (disguised of course, for the rose tinted spectacle wearers). Kiss and Try (two different people) can be pretty spot on... which for me, makes a nice change to read and restores my faith. Being challenged beats youtube anyday

OK, earthling1010...
October 8 2008, 1:38 PM
As you so clearly need to be involved and it's tea-break time, would you care to expand on, "I've never met a woman as two faced and cruel as you"?
01. Yes, you've never met me.
02. "Two-faced"? I'm not the one without a mind of their own, changing like the wind, blurting secrets in true sycophantic style.
03. "Cruel"? I'm not the one that comments on someone's gender, size, sexuality, blah, mid debate... oh and I'm not even the chicken-eater.
sweetythang (Login sweetythang) BW Member 86.162.222.27
And while we wait to see if you can resist temptation...
October 8 2008, 1:54 PM
Let's have a:
04. "Will be judged"? But I thought you said something along the lines of "no one has the right to judge"? Or are you being two faced? Or trying to be cruel?
Nobody has the right to judge you as a person and how you live your life, If one is born gay then that is that, nothing to do with those you remain friendly with.
Typical Sweety twist trying to turn the attention away from her slimy snidey self, crawl back into your shell for a while dear.
On the other hand you openly admit with being close friends to kissme/urfired/sarah and co.
Others will judge your friendship (not how you were born) with these people including (RAPC) and decide for themselves.
Now get back to your daytime telly sweety

Didn't think you'd be able to answer all on your lonesome.
No earthling1010, I shall follow your "good friend's" lead and repeat, would you care to expand on, "I've never met a woman as two faced and cruel as you"? Oh and "proof" (pretty please), that's always a good one to throw in so I hear?
I shan't hold my breath. In fact, I shall play 'spot where earthling1010 concocts his posts from' -- you lift other people's sentences practically word for word which is most amusing (especially when you repeat moi). You should get paid for it
sweetythang (Login sweetythang) BW Member 86.162.222.27
I'm sure your clip is all very entertaining and that...
October 8 2008, 2:37 PM
(I don't watch any of them), but it's a joy to see you once more display your ability to articulate your highly developed arguments using the finest of the English language. School holidays soon, that'll be nice for you. Remind me to not to look at BWW that week... spam is so bad for one.
<< would you care to expand on, "I've never met a woman as two faced and cruel as you"? Oh and "proof" (pretty please), that's always a good one to throw in so I hear?>>
I mean on here (Bww) you are the most snide woman I have ever met on T'internet, with exception to maybe one (who possibly was you again) on TW.
All the other females on here show their femininity, whereas you have to prove you are better than anybody else all the time, you obviously have some kind of complex?
I've seen your photograph and that was enough, certainly broke the mould when they made you dear
Now run along and watch your afternoon telly, be a good gal.

October 8 2008, 3:22 PM
You still haven't answered "two faced and cruel"... but then I have very low expectations of you.
As for "All the other females on here show their femininity, whereas you have to prove you are better than anybody else all the time..." Err... I didn't think you 'did' gender? Or "judging" come to that? And what exactly has "better than" got to do with/as a comparison with "femininity"? Oh I'm sorry... not enough clichéd girliness going on for you to cling to, not enough "db is gorgeous", not enough "thank you, what a wonderful youtube clip!", not enough animal piccies for you? Little Britain in all its glory.
Now, I do love it when you end on the predictable supposed insult... shows you are struggling so very much. I really don't expect to get an adult response from you (especially as there are few new posts for you to lift), so I'll leave you to bore someone else... and believe me, you do.

Fellow Goldfrapp fan...
October 8 2008, 4:18 PM
The thang is... this is a MB on the internet! Many people are strangers in reality. I don't hold with this idea of taking everything so personally, so need to feel "sad".
Why don't people get it?! Why think it's "elitist" and "judgemental"? If anything, all I'm saying is that Kiss, Try... can redress the balance as there is so much hypocritical wrangling going on (by people who like to think of themselves as perfect), so I welcome some alternative perspectives (which I personally think hit the spot at times). Each to our own, eh?
<<If anything, all I'm saying is that Kiss, Try... can redress the balance >>
So you find these members who as you say "can redress the balance" as ok?
Yet they insult the memory of ones lost loved ones, they call all kinds of members terrible expletive names and in gerneral cause chaos and hatred to breed.
You dear lady are sick & twisted. I suggest you get out more and not spend hour after hour scheming up your next snidey remarks.
There's a name for a woman like you! But I'm a gentleman and would not use it.

Here we go...

"...they call all kinds of members terrible expletive names and in gerneral cause chaos and hatred to breed."
Don't you see, this could easily fit your goodself? No you don't, you think your "harmless banter" is OK and that's your problem...
"There's a name for a woman like you! But I'm a gentleman and would not use it."
You've used every other word recently so what's stopping you now? You haven't got a clue about 'being brought up properly'. Go try to kid someone else...
<<The thang is... this is a MB on the internet! Many people are strangers in reality. I don't hold with this idea of taking everything so personally, so need to feel "sad".>>
Just remembered this crappy sentence from yesterday, yet more rubbish from Islingtons resident multifaced shit stirrer.
Then why dear Sweety do you take the harmless banter to heart?

Gabriel, if you search for 'Irving' you'll find some very 'fruity' threads from 2006 when the subject was very first... err... 'debated' (for want of a better word). There are some interesting 'God will judge you' threads doing the rounds from way back when too.
I saw them at the time, thanks. I've been lurking here for years. I only came out of lurk mode here last Xmas, when a bit of astronomy came up.
This is the only Bowie site I visit, I'm not a mad for it fan these days. I used to browse the alt.fan.bowie group, but it's like a handfull of forty somethings still pretending they're left field sixthformers sending each other 'look how arty I am' cryptic notes.
I didn't start this thread to have a dig at the moderator. I moderate a forum myself, it's fairly busy though it's only got seventy odd members but I've never needed to delete a thread or ban anyone, and apart from illegal stuff being posted on there, I don't see why I should. But as I say, I'm a guest here, the moderator can do what he wants. I get the odd complaint on my forum but I treat them as spam. It's not real life, it's the internet.
Isn't the internet funny? There's people about who live their life on line, and their perspectives get wonky. An cyber-insult becomes real to them, they become hurt and spend hours trying to get 'one over' on the guy that insulted them. To what end? So other people they've never met can think 'oooh, they're winning!'.
One guy who had a blog I used to read would to fall in love with people he'd meet in chat rooms & forums. Never met them, just chatted on line, then would post on his blog of 'his love'. The internet was that real to him. Amazing.
Anyway, I suppose I'll be back to lurk mode for a while unless I see a bit of wonky wishfull astronomy or good old christian gay bashing . . or Bowie makes more music.
sweetythang (Login sweetythang) BW Member 86.162.222.27
The internet is certainly "funny"...
October 8 2008, 1:03 PM
Although usually more peculiar than haha.
It's a bad place for obsessives... and as you say, those that take things in a very 'real' sense. I fail to understand why people don't get (and why they are so surprised!) that others can be who they want to be on t'internet? It seems that it can quickly get out of hand when fantasy (and paranoia) and reality start merging for some. Blimey, children are taught about the hazards of chatrooms and being online... maybe there should be a health warning for the over 30s too?
I look forward to more little green men threads though (and hopefully your input), as unfortunately I'm sure they'll beat db to the post.
KMS hung around a 'gang' that made fun of you. She/he wrote some spiteful things about you. All done in the best possible taste of course. I actually asked why they where being nasty about you. It's fun it's a game until his next victim. What's sadder is that you think this person somehow redresses the balance on the board.
'Not many people seem to see beyond the surface around here... so yes, the balance does need redressing'
LOL your so self righteous and judgemental and elitist it's laughable.
But I don't hold that against you. Us Goldfrapp fans must stick together

"One guy who had a blog I used to read would to fall in love with people he'd meet in chat rooms & forums. Never met them, just chatted on line, then would post on his blog of 'his love'. The Internet was that real to him. Amazing.
"'Who we love and why we love
It's hard to understand
So let's just sit here on the couch
And face this, man to man"
Yeuoo go on about some person that talks about loving people on the Internet....... I would not be emboldened enough (with my wizened heart) to be able to do that; but speaking positively about people and extolling the virtues of same is something I approve of. So the person in this instance sees people that they've met in a positive light? (you never stated if they broke some ethical code)
~~~~~If yeuood said that this person had broadcast personal information, or that this person HATED.... then I might be with you to shut the fuker down..... But I like positive talk.... I love everybody on this Bww website... I have not met you, but I love you. I don't hate my Da, nor my Ma..... I was treated ok growing up considering I didn't have the best, but i compensate
(as does everybody); you know?
I like the Internet. It is a good place for people to meet people that hold like opinions to meet. And also, a good place for people within the same population to share concerns over opinions expressed by others in the population...... doing so embraces a plasticity of democratic values. Of course many cannot handle the sort of diverse opinions that are held by the general public (of different populations) but this restricted view is detected in short order and either embraced or chastised.
Long live free communication of thoughts...... The world is becoming a better place all the time. (faster with each epoch!)
Mouix my bww pals! (ESPECIALLY YOU Gabe!) ":->
