I first heard of her last year when i caught the last 5mins of an interview on the Ian Dempsey breakfast show one morning.
Just watched her perform two songs on the Late Late Show and she sounded really amazing,had a great backing band also.
Hopefully we'll be hearing much more of her this year and rightfully so.wink.gif

Saw an old episode of Later with Jools Holland last night with Imelda performing (she is sooooo beautiful, her pics don't do her justice).

Anyhoo it inspired me to track down this little beauty...

...which is a reissue of her first album, which was originally released under her birth name - Imelda Clabby (you can see why she changed it).

It's a rockabilly dream and includes a duet with her husband, incredible guitarist and renowned Eddy Cochran impersonator, Darrel Higham.

I love rockabilly music. I reckon you have to be dead or deaf to not like rockabilly.
