I was in Camden Market in London this weekend and there were very few stall selling bootlegs!
I haven't been over to London in 3 years, but the last time I was over there were major stalls with lots of interesting CDs. The Market now just seems to be stall after stall selling the same T-shirts.
So what's happened to Camden?
And where can I get bootlegs in London in future?
Thanks in advance.
Zara.

I havent been for a years or more but I noticed that too. I think it's probably Camden council "tidying up the act" They probably see bootlegs as illegitimate and have probably been pressured by record companies to hand out fines to the sellers.
I don't know this but it's a hunch.
even on ebay it's hard to find Bowie boots now too though isnt it?

Selling them is very very difficult to legally stop. I think it's just the market at the moment. And Camden really suffered from the whole CDR bootleg era. Tat.
Try Spitalfields record fair every 1st and 3rd friday. LOADS of them!

They always have lots of factory pressed early 90's titles. Stuff that we've all got, but rare pressings. usually about £12. They had the 2 disc RNR Suicide version of Santa Monica '72 which I have coveted since I was a kid. Might get it next time.
