lovely version, thanks for that. I always 'crave' for the verse to kick in
just after the guitar strums (in this case, the piano). The simplicity and building melodrama to this song is always exquisite to hear.
She does heaps of Bowie covers (saw her live last year here in Melbourne).... also some Nick Cave, Tom Waits and others.
Her version of FIVE YEARS merges into a track from DARKSIDE OF THE MOON.
Well, 100% Brit (and apparently proud of it) is being a bit over the top when he says 8 hours [of Outside outtakes]. I'd love to know the truth concerning what 100% Git really has ~ Reeves Gabrels, 2003

I only found out about this yesterday morning when I heard an advert on FBI Radio. In the ad she is first heard doing Suffragette City and then Rock & Roll Suicide.
Her set list also includes My Death, The Port of Amsterdam and Five Years.
If I can get tickets, I may well be attending.

Checking the website there seem to be tickets available for all nights so far. We can't do Saturday and Sunday, so I'm going to have to work out when we can get there. Fortunately the SOH is only about a 15 minute walk from where I'm currently working, so I can get to the box office (and take advantage of the reduced booking fee) easily.
I know nothing of this girl but she showed great passion during her rendition of Bowie's classic. 9/10 here and yes I too spotted those magnicent mammeries.
