Typical! You wait ages for some Bowie music and then 2 coverbands are doing gigs either side of one weekend!

Tonight (Thursday 25th July) the wonderful All The Young Dudes make their first appearance for over a year at Cafe Be Beib in The Hague (17 tram stops outside). Start time is around 10pm. Really looking forward to it.

Then on Tuesday July 30, EchoBowie will be appearing at around 10pm in the Big Top of De Parade travelling sideshow fair that is in Westbroek Park, Scheveningen. I've never seen them but they seem nice friendly people on Hyves.

Gonna be a busy weekend as I have to go to England for a friend's 50th party Saturday and Sunday. Wonder if I can get them  to play any Bowie?

Edit - Got second date wrong!

Good to hear that ATYD are still going strong. I have a number of their tracks that I listen to a lot. They're good.

Absolutely awesome evening. The Dudes were on top form. Highlights were  storming versions of Stay and Station to Station plus an amazingly good I'm Afraid of Americans.

Sorry if I was singing along too loudly for some but the quality music just gets me going.

I know its controversian but to me seeing them is BETTER than a Bowie gig due to the small bar venue, so much better to be there with other Bowie fans rather than in a huge stadium sat down next to someone who just came to hear the big hits.

Hopefully I can sort out a gig for them on the weekend of my 50th in September.
