It has been mentioned in the News section, but for those who might have missed it Swedish longtime Bowie fan and musician Max Lorentz releases a Bowie cover album entitled 'Kiss You In The Rain' covering one song from each of Bowie's studio albums released between 1967 and 1980. Lorentz's favourite Bowie album is 'Baal', and backed by Sweden's jazz elite Lorentz comes up with cabaret-esque renderings of the following numbers:

Station To Station (Part 1)
Five Years
All The Madmen
Be My Wife
Drive-In Saturday
Blackout
When I Live My Dream
Scream Like A Baby
Rock 'n' Roll With Me
Quicksand
Yassassin
Cygnet Committee
Can You Hear Me
Station To Station (Part 2)

You can listen to most of the songs here -

Quite an eccentric and knowledgeable selection of songs, you can tell that Lorentz is a genuine fan with an interesting take on Bowie's music, IMHO this sounds really good, some of the best covers of Bowie I've heard since John Howard's magnificent version of 'The Bewlay Brothers' featured on the CD which came with the June 2008 issue of Uncut -

*"Bonus"; an electro cover of 'Aladdin Sane' with Aurora here -
