Uri Geller - A Twat !

I watched the story unfold last night, finally went to bed at 1am. But watching Uri Geller `perform` made me wanna spew. It was the most self serving, odious tribute i,ve ever witnessed.
Some quotes i remember :

"As you know, he was MY best man"

"He said, Uri Geller, im a lonely man"

"I dont know if i should say this, but whilst i hypnotised him, I did something un-ethical"

"He was sat right here, on THAT sofa, in MY home "

But what he couldn`t/ouldn`t answer, when asked :

"When was the last time you spoke/saw Michael"

He replied
"I dont want to discuss that now"

i.e. He saw right thru me, and we havent spoken/seen each other for years. ANd yes, you`re right, i probably wouldnt even make it on his Facebook list now.

I hope to god, i haven`t aquired `friends` like that.

Love On.
Craig

I wonder if everyone is required to address him by his full name, or was it just Michael?

People are still paying attention to him?! I saw a PBS special by the Amazing Randi about frauds like him back in the `90s, and the footage of Geller getting debunked on camera was much older...from the Tonight Show back when Johnny Carson hosted it. The show hosts supplied the spoons and didn't let him see them until the actual performance, so of course he couldn't "psychically" bend them and gave some BS excuse. Good stuff.

The clip of it from the PBS special, if you want to watch it wink.gif

LOL classic.
Bring on some more fakes like Benny Hinn for some hands on healing, that is as long as you really aren't sick. ;-P

It was quite bizarrre. As I was watching that interview the spoon in my hand broke.
Was it Uri's amazing psychic powers? Maybe.
Or was it me snapping the bugger in two seeing the biggest fake since Doris Stokes trying to capitalise on an ex-friend's death?
Um I wonder?

I once bumped into Uri Gellar...

June 26 2009, 11:51 PM

At Westminster tube station-after we'd collided, I turned and said-"you should have seen that coming."
He didn't look amused for some reason.

Funny but true

They'll all be claiming they knew MJ. Cannot say I would admit to knowing him though!

Best joke told to me by one of my daughters, What is the difference between MJ and Disney films? For years to come children will continue to be touched by Disney films. happy.gif
