What is the best "Jean" ever?
My vote goes to Mr Levi with Mr Gene Hunt a close second.

I think Mr Genie is above all other Jeans.

My mother-in-law is named Jean and she is a lovely,lovely lady.My girlfriend (Jean's daughter)now calls her The Jean Genie,which makes me cringe.

I think the best Jean is Maggie Smith.



She was in the movie, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie.
She won the Academy Award for Best Actress of 1969 for her performance.

Billie Jean is fantastic as is Jean Genie and Blue Jean. Selfish Jean by Travis is deplorable as is all their material.

If you're allowing spelling variations I'll go for The Smiths featuring Sandie Shaw and 'Jeane'. The Jeane in this sounds like a commendable character, trying to turn a shabby home (a 'grave') into a palace. Beautiful tune. Ridiculous that it was a b-side. "Jeane, I don't know what happiness means/But I look in your eyes and I know that it isn't there"
