An old family friend who has a transport storage facility was clearing out his offices and storage containers when he came across this item.

The story goes...

In 1973 a company who provided a crew bus for part of the northen leg of the 73 Ziggy Tour uses this storage facility occasionally.

He was given two of these and this one remained in the wrapper since 1973!

As you can see it is a beautiful item but a bit delicate, so I will not be sitting on it.

great fake! i think the only thing that ever came out with the famous costume's pattern on it was the special bound mick rock book. they should have done a ziggy stardust cd with the pattern! i wonder if he got the jump suit from a trash bag on carnaby street.
