Just don't understand the mentality of alot of people the come onto these boards. just like very similar Bowie fan sites like this one and other sites...no names mentioned.
they are becoming a magnet for low life dead heads. It's too easy for people to disguise themselves and express their inner hatred.
I am aware that this topic is also linked to TW and fair enough maybe people should be aware but it's usually the underlying characters to blame everywhere. isolationism and alienation are found everywhere. Where we should celebrate diverisity.
How far away is sexism and ageism come to think of it? where division begin and end?
...damn we're all different!

well, l think that they are scared to voice thier opinion in the real world so they just get it off their chests anonomously on a board like this one and many others.
you will probably find that they are wee mousey people who wouldnt say boo to a ghost in the real world face to face with real people.

I'm glad to see I'm not alone on this. I have recently read about what they call "hate 2.0" and that just confirmed for me what I already have seen even on boards like this.
freedom of speech seems to be a used as an excuse for condeming minority groups.

it's terrible this message board isn't the utopia you envisioned it to be. terrible for someone to have a differing opinion from your own. unfortunately prejudice is human nature, it's not like anyone planned on being a xenophobe or homophobe, they just naturally (or possibly because of social influence) dislike certain groups of people. as long as no one is being blatantly rude or hateful i see no problem with them having their own set of values and expressing those values.
with that said, i do think this board lacks sufficient moderation. there are plenty of offensive comments to be stumbled upon here. things are relatively consistent though, you know offensive comments will be allowed, so if you don't like it you might as well leave or just participate in the less controversial threads.

"it's terrible this message board isn't the utopia you envisioned it to be." I am speaking generally about message boards not just this one in particular.
"with that said, i do think this board lacks sufficient moderation" agreed
