ok, so after a while i was able to find a place to download these (hadn't heard them in a few years). what happened to bowieaudio.com? anyways, i know this has probably been discussed to death, but as it is essentially the jewel in the crown of latter-day creativity for the man, it is a project i'm exceptionally interested in. first off, if you follow the above link, is this everything that surfaced? or does the boot 9. insiders or whatever it is called have slighty more material? is there only one source for the leaks? is there any evidence that the sequence is somehow correct? (an early narrative)
i know there is huge discussion over at mindwarppavillion about it, but it got a bit technical for me. Maybe i didn't see the right page)
also, my downloads have a few pips in sound, those little glitches a download can suometimes have. i seem to remember them being on my last copy, but is it just me, or the original source material?
finally, if there is any more material out there, anyone got a link to it? i was surprised it took me quite a few attempts to find somewhere to download this (surprised no one has made a little outside shrine site complete with downloads).
oh, some more questions while i'm at it...
apart from 'i have not been to paradise' and lost highway soundtrack, is there any outside material that is not covered on the sony re-issue. i'm thinking the cd single version of 'i am with name' which is slightly longer? and was mistakenly not put on the disc (the album vesion ending up there), and the edit of strangers when we meet/man who sold the world... and i guess those few live tracks off spaceboy (that were used on some issues of excerpts) and earthling in the city with its live version of hearts filthy lesson...any other official mixes etc. from this time not neatly covered on the sony issue?
oh, and while i'm at it, anyone have any good links to outside shows and tv performances, i've lost all mine.
interestingly, i thought the track titled 'the first time' sounded briefly like a prototype for bring me the disco king!
cheers for any info.
